What To Expect When You Visit

Visiting a new church can be intimidating: What should I wear? Where do I park? Where do my kids go? We understand the many questions that can arise when visiting a new church, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit. Below are some frequently asked questions. If you have any additional questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.

When are services?

There are several options for Sunday School classes at each of our worship times 9 am or 10:30 am every Sunday. The services lasts about 1 hour 15 mins each. During our service you will be able to take part in worship through singing, taking communion, giving back to God through our offering time and listening to a biblical message that carries application that is relevant to living, loving and serving like Jesus in today’s culture. We have coffee, hot chocolate and hot tea available so please come a little early to grab some while also getting to know someone new.

What should I wear?

We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you’re joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you’re wearing! It’s not uncommon to see people wearing shorts or jeans. Others prefer to still put on their “Sunday best,” and that’s fine too. We think you’ll fit in no matter how you dress.

Where should I park?

The church has two parking lots. The lower lot has an entire row set aside for newcomers. If this is your first, second or third time attending, we hope you will take advantage of the closer “guest” parking spaces. Otherwise, feel free to park in any other space in either parking lot. We also have plenty of handicap parking spots on the upper parking lot.

Where do my children go?

EB Kid’s Ministry is the perfect place for your children (infant through fifth grade) to go while you attend our 9 am Sunday School time and 10:30 am worship service. EB Kids also meet on Wednesdays (during the school year) at 6:00 pm.

If you would like your 3 year old through 5th grade children to go to EB Kids Ministry, visit with Heather Lutke (Children’s Ministry Director) in the Student Building located to the east of the main building. Your children will be checked in, and you will receive a security tag which you will need in order to pick up your child. You will also notice a three-digit numeric code on your security tag (example: 101). This code is used to notify parents if help is needed with their child. We will display the three-digit numeric code on the video screen in the main service to alert you to come to the Kid’s Ministry area.

If you have a teenager in 6th-12th grade they have Sunday School at 9am in the the Student Building (gym). Our Youth Minister is Dakota Fox and he would be happy to help them to their classroom. Our teens are encouraged to attend 2nd service for worship after their Sunday School class.

Infants up to 3 years old are welcome in the nurseries also in the same building during both services.

Am I expected to put money in the offering?

If you are visiting with us, our service is a gift to you, and we don’t expect you to put money in the offering. You are welcome to just let it pass you by. If you consider EBCC your church home, we’d love for you to prayerfully consider giving to EBCC.
